I think it's safe to say that my year (apart from yesterday's sad news) has started particularly well. I love our Australian Shootfests. They remind me of how truly wonderful our community here in Aus really is. The post-shootfest blues are kicking in and I'm back to reality tomorrow, working my little butt off.

This shootfest I decided to only do one shoot and that was with our resident staff photographer @exkyu and the wonderful @countessa. These guys happened to shoot my debut, so it was great being able to come back and work with them now that I'm a bit more experienced.
People are rarely ever around when I shoot so I never get behind the scenes of my own shoots, but FINALLY I had some babes lurking and taking some snaps for me. Thank you @haylonn and @amaryllis!

It's safe to say that this shootfest happened to be my favourite I've ever attended. The vibe was amazing from the get-go. I was the most social I've been in a long time and managed to spend time and chat to so many beautiful souls, hopefully these will be friendships that will continue to blossom (y'all know who you are). It is also the first shootfest I managed to get some cute as hell selfies with the best babes, along with some dorky shots which were the consequence of invading a shoot between @valentine and @captureofcthulhu
Thank you to everyone who made this get away possible and thank you to evertone who attended. It was the best weekend I've had in a while and I needed it. SGAU are hands down, the best bunch of people you could have in your life. What a way to start the new year!
