After months of searching and applying, I have a job interview tomorrow. At first, I was excited and a little proud of myself. I spoke to the hiring manager/owner and he sounded really enthusiastic about having me. As I don't drive I still have to catch public transport, which doesn't bother me at all but for some reason that's bothered my family. I've received nothing but rude remarks, criticism and discouragement from them because of it's distance, although I used to attend school over an hour away? as opposed to a half an hour to 40 minute trip.
I'm really stuck as what to do now. I feel really shut down and now the though of going is making me so anxious and sick. I know how much it'll benefit me if I do get it and I'm trying to really use those thoughts to motivate me, but I still feel so down in the dumps and unsure whether it's now worth it.
Dazed and confused.

They should be encouraging you, not tearing you down. I wonder what their problem is. Public transportation is a great invention.

Do whatever benefits YOU the most. It is your life that you are living not theirs. They shouldn't be so negative about it. But if they are, kindly and politely tell them it isn't any of their concern what you do. :):)
