Random "blog" 2 - Ever since my mom, - who also happens to be my best friend - moved to Florida with my stepdad, I've been conflicted on how I feel about it.
They sold their house in the suburbs a couple months ago and "moved" to Florida (which in reality is them reting a condo while they look for property to bid on).
I'm used to being able to see her whenever I wanted and this will most likely be the first year I don't see her on Thanksgiving. Kind of depressing...

I moved all the way to England from california. *sigh*
People underestimate the holiday.
I know it does have some dark roots but it's something more than that now.
Yeah, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and I won't even see my mother that day.
