Oddly, I haven't been going out lately due to some frugality issues - wanting to save up for the protools rig and eventually a ticket outta this place - but last night was the Chili-Blues Festival here in the Haven, and I hit my favorite joint with some friends I just don't see too much anymore. It was great. The cats that were playing had some mad skills, and pulled off some covers I'd never heard before, like "Grazing in the Grass" and Lionel Richie's "Hello". Some really sick, sick jazz from those cats. It was such a pleasure.

Looks like another gorgous day today. Finally sunshine and warmth! Outdoors barefoot and shirtless! The last time I could do that was last September.

I picked up some CD's yesterday, too. Von Bondies and Ween's new one, Quebec.
Rock and roll! I fucking love it.
