I just found out this afternoon that I will be recording a new version of Terry Goodkind's "Sword of Truth", the first in the series. His books are really everything that I love in modern fantasy literature. He seems to consciously depart from Tolkien's molds, and does so well. I especially love all the sex and torture. And swords and magic. Fuck yeah.
Now Les and I get to shoot a set. I'm not going to tell what it's gonna be, or where it's gonna be shot, but I've not seen any like it, so hopefully she has a good chance of coming outta limbo. Then I can live vicariously through her.
OH, and the carnival pics are going up! I promise!

crazy day. It's the annual Coast Guard festival, and I was to run sound for the Grand Haven Tribune's float in the huge parade. No less than 500,000 people are crammed in our small town of 20,000. Beer tents, parties, carnival on the main street. I'll try to get some pics up tonight.
