to do today:
- clean cat box/rabbit cage
- work (sigh)
- pack some loose items
- pack up my car.
- go to the south bay for doctor + storage
- come back to sf.
I guess I'm busy today.

I never get angry, but I'm fucking livid today. calling United almost every day trying to get my rabbit in the cabin with me, he's less than 2lbs, tiny, quiet, and would probably die as cargo.
They let cats on, they let dogs on, 10 hours or international flight with one of those animals, barking, yowling, taking a shit and smelling up the whole plane, or having some number of allergic people be miserable... and they won't let my pocket sized rabbit on.
Why? Rabbits are rodents, they could destroy things. WHAT!? My rabbit, first of all, is not a rodent - it's a lagomorph, which is more closely related to a horse than a mouse. Second, what could a rabbit do that would me more destructive than a stressed out dog or cat on a plane? You can't let ANY animal out of its cage on a plane anyway, what would suddenly drive me to let him out and let him run around.
My stomach is turning, my body is shaking, having to deal with some snubby pretentious cunt of a supervisor on the phone who told me basically to go and fuck myself, fly with another airline, and hung up on me.
I have now flown 7 times internatinoally in the past two years, and I had recently purchased my 8th international flight with star alliance, this doesn't include domestic flights I've taken. I've decided that from now on, I'd rather pay 600 more dollars than go with United - and I will be calling my travel agency right now and change to ANA.
Fuck you United, I gave you shitloads of my money, dealt with the most cunt ass phone operators, bitchy fat ugly flight attendents, and dealt with your shit enough.
You have lost my business, I will be telling the rest of my company the kind of shit you do, and so you've lost a bunch of people who fly internationally, both on and off season. I'll also be sure to tell the house-rabbit community, who have a strong dedication to our pets as being treated equally and changing everyones view of them as RODENTS. Your already empty planes, your bankrupt ass, expect even less money and less patronage.
I NEVER get mad. But I'm going to kill someone.

I've flown united domestically (been stuck on on of thier 52 seaters for 5 hours on a hot southern runway) but never internationally; as work pays, it's BA. That sucks about the rabbit, for exactly the reasons you say.
bastards!
