2003 was my year of change. Honestly, I think this was the most life and persona developing year of my life beyond when I learned to use the potty and learned to ask for stuff. My graduation, my real job, getting dumped and thankfully moving to the city which led me to meeting not only a bunch of totally awesome people, but to get close to people I wasn't with before. I really made and supported friendships this year. Granted having the boyfriend who was that catalyst for all this change come back to me now was a change I didn't expect... but it is something new. And the B has become this stupidly huge impact on my life, I don't think I've ever met a more patient person. I put him through hell and still do (he must like it).
And of course.. we can't forget Japan. my 4th trip in 12 months is coming, and I know it has truly affected my life to have traveled there so much.
It made me feel like all the things you thought were impossible are really not hard and amazingly close if you just make that little stretch and effort to get it. There is always an easy answer: buy the ticket, don't look back.
2004 I want better nails, more shopping superficial frivolous time, and to learn to understand when my boyfriend says something that when slapping him across the face and telling him to shut his mouth because I'm always right, and he's always wrong.
well.. ok... maybe not, because I AM always right.
Am I supposed to want something deeper? i want to uh... be good. I want to discover myself and why my cuticles always look like shit.
and for the girls who want rings.. I want one too. But I want one without the committment.... so boys, you can go ahead and send me that ring in the mail or drop it on my doorstep. Thanks.
