Thanks for the veg and cleaning suggestions everyone!!
Well, so at present I think the one thing worse than having an unholy stomach and other flu illness thing is being the one person who doesn't have it (yet?). I have been eating garlic like crazy to try and avoid the awful illness all together, so now I smell so much like garlic no one wants to be anyplace near me. Then all the roommates and child are very whiney and needy and I am instantly the nurse and runner for everyone. It is crazy.
My son let my dog out accidentally today and I had to bike all over the neighborhood looking for him. I have never had a dog who ran away before. This one sucks. The moment that back gate is open he is off running into neighbor's houses. Of course the neighbors think he is cute and are nice to him which reinforces the running away. I'd love to put a tag on him that says "if found be mean to me so I stop running away". But he is so cute no one would do it. Grrr... I am so afraid one of these times he is going to get run over or eaten by a bigger dog.
I have put more stuff on eBay. I made a "Blues Clues" skirt in a sz LG/XL and a size 10 mermaid skirt thing. Here andHere
Here is my recipe for hamburger buns. You will never buy burger buns again after you make these. They are super easy to make and never seem to fail!
INGREDIENTS:
5 cups all-purpose flour
2 (.25 ounce) packages dry yeast
1 cup milk
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIRECTIONS:
Stir together 2 cups flour and the yeast. In a separate bowl, heat milk, water, oil, sugar and salt to lukewarm in microwave. Add all at once to the flour mixture, and beat until smooth, about 3 minutes.
Mix in enough flour to make a soft dough, 2 to 3 cups. Mix well. Dust a flat surface with flour, turn dough out onto floured surface, and let rest under bowl for about 10 minutes.
Shape dough into 12 slightly flat balls, and place on greased baking sheet to rise until doubled in size.
Bake in a preheated 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

I hope everything is going well with your father, and your family has stopped with the sickness.
You're the best for doing this for your dad.
Good luck.
