I've been really superficial for the past few months.

It's because things have been stressful.

Very stressful. Like me wanting to reach out and nix someone.

Fortunately, my fight or flight genes were overcome with copious applications of antiacid and sleeping pills.

Just think, I get to do this again starting next week.

I saw Closer last night.

It was striking for its Asimov-like plot device of all the critical action taking place off-camera. It was sort of disconcerting.

I can't sleep, and I need to.

I'm tired all the time.

Sometimes I hate everything.

But I usually hold things together well enough, and I'm mostly nice, even when you deserve to get kicked in the head instead.

I'm not sure what I'e done wrong, but things took a wrong turn somewhere.

Noir can be my friend anyday.

Even when I make stupid and ill-expressed fumbling observations and whatnot.

Which is why she's such a good friend, after all.

In other news, my work life has been sheer hell for the past month or so.

I hope to survive it.
