Today I saw this very old lady at the grocery store. She had a little scarf thing on to cover her head but you could tell she was having Chemo. She was looking at these hideous purse bags they had for sale. I walked past her thinking how awful the bags were and she looked at me and smiled and then I realized she was so much cooler than I could ever be. Here she is, going through cancer, fighting for her life, loosing her hair yet she has the time to smile at me, and all I could do was think how awful the bag was she was looking at. I felt like an ass and realized I have a long way to go.
