I didn’t quite grow up in a council estate but being 1 of 7 kids my parents had there wasn’t much to go around. Growing up with nothing makes you appreciate everything you have as you get older. Your mum sounds awesome and she can be proud of the person she’s raised you to be :-)

@lwst completely agree I think that's what's wrong with children who are spoilt because they do grow up less appreciative of things and become quite demanding. Aww thank you, I do hope I have made her proud xx

As for things to do, depends on how long your up and if you have any other plans. The open top bus is worth a shot as it will give you an idea of whats about and you can hop on and off as you desire. Theres plenty of brewery tours etc around town if that takes your fancy. Loch Lomand is close by if you want to get into the countryside and Edinburgh is only 50 mins away by train and theres loads to do there as well like the castle or underground ghost tours. Would take a long time to list out everything but feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions.

@lwst thank you!. I am home now, we have decided to stay in Edinburgh next year some time to do the ghost tours.

Ok now lets get onto the good stuff!, I have been waiting eagerly to play the next instalment...
