well the other day I was going to bitch about something, but I lost my momentum on that one... so anywhos.
For once I had a good day at work even though nothing went right and I was having to photograph middle schoolers (Im school photographer, not a creep with a camera:whatever
but luckily it was such a small school that I was done and home by 1:30 in the afternoon. I think what really made my day was a 5th grader that was a photo geek! 5th grade! He was telling me that he has a Canon xsi and that he thought that the Nikon d300s that I personally use was cool... how cool is that! he then told me that his mom was a photographer at the same company I work for before she died... which was sad to hear, but odd to find out she worked for the same company.
so anyways back to me... excited to have more than just a couple hours to be awake before bed, I decided to grab my 35mm Pentax and go out and burn a couple rolls of film, and then locked myself out of the house
so another 30 minutes later and $90 a locksmith got me back in so I can get my keys, THEN went out and shot a couple rolls of film. Im thinking thats its not a good sign for my personal life if work was good
on the bright side over the weekend I basically doubled my camera collection for $35 between second hand stores and antique stores
two Polaroids and three Brownies! woo!
