How was everyones weekend? Mine was fun. I went to Saras parents house on Saturday and got drunk with them while we played Mario Superstar Baseball and watched the Padres game. I tried Budweisers new Select beer. Its not that bad. 
It has no aftertaste and has little to no regular taste as well. Its good if youre looking for something to maintain a buzz too because its not really as hard as anything else. I drank a few Newcastles (because those are my favorite beer next to Caffreys) and good a good buzz going before maintaining it with Budweiser.
On Sunday we went to my moms house and had a carne asada. Most of my family was there to hang out with us. They all ate their meat stuffs while Sara and I munched on homemade tortillas, beans, rice, guacamole, salsa, and vegetarian potato salad. All in all the food and conversation was cool. I missed hanging out with my family.
My mother mentioned to me that she just got done running some blood tests for her cancer. The doctors noticed she had something wrong with the last one and were worried she was developing cancer in her liver too so they brought her in. She got the results back and they were completely cancer free. She is officially in remission! I knew she was too strong to let that shit get her. Let it be known that Catholic Mexican mothers are strong enough to stay alive long enough to see their grandchildren.
no. Sara is not pregnant. I meant that she refuses rest until she has one. That and she needs to finish raising my little brother.
As a matter of fact, we had a little scare this weekend. Shes a week late and I was beginning to freak out. We got a test and it showed up negative though. Shes of the opinion that she might be infertile because shes missed a lot of her periods. Does anyone know what the indicators of that are? I dont want to take her to a doctor to get tested if its not relevant right now. Besides, if she is then that just means we get to adopt a kid that needs a home instead of bringing another one into this crowded world. Now that I think about it, we might just adopt anyways even if we do have a child together. Seems like the right thing to do.
Does anyone else think that the lead singer form +/- (plus/minus) sounds like Elliot Smith? Im listening to The Industrial Revolution from their Self-Titled Long Playing Debut and its kind of creeping me out. It sounds as though hes channeling Mr. Smiths soul. Even the inflections are spot on. Wow I think I might cry.
Bonus question: How many albums do you own? Cds, records, mp3s, etc.?
My answer: 305 in mp3 format on an external hard drive, around 230 in cd format in books and loose, and about 15 records (all Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Metallica).
Edit: Whoops... I have 525 albums in .mp3 format. Forgot a couple.
