Isis - The Other

I've been listening to a lot of new (to me) music lately. People have been handing out recommendations and I have liked it very very much. Just heard Ratatat and found them devilishly lovely, listened to some Handsome Boy Modeling School and grooved out a bit, but the main band that has me enthralled is Isis. Why did I take so long to further explore them? My friend leavemehere gave me a few of their tracks on a copy of Bleeding Through's This is Love, This is Murderous a while back but I never really took the time to look into them. I just downloaded their Isis album and have been listening to it non-stop for a few days now. I had no idea something this epic existed. It makes me nostalgic for the glory days and wish I had found a band that played music like this. Kris7, check them out if you haven't already.
In other news, I need more new music. I've had my iPod for months now and still haven't filled it. My entire music collection only fills about 24-26gb of space. Recommend something that you think I might like. If you don't know what I like, look to the left.

I just wanted to drop by and tell you that I taking off to California for two weeks and won't be commenting much.
I know that sounds kinda lame announcing it and all but you are one of my favorite "friends" on SG and just wanted to let you know.
