Standing like a sore thumb, out,
notice your image is different.
Traits that change, it's just too quick,
follow on clues and guess what, that's what, it's like.
Follow your ups and downs,
it's safe to say that I can't tell.
All sense aside.
Left out in the cold,
sight of your routine getting old.
Blame some indifference inside,
taken on shapes not to selective.
Just what you find.
Looking for seconds of peace of mind,
pieces of something to hold on to.
A job that you just can't hold down,
distracted for seconds, you're gone.
Follow your ups and downs,
it's safe to say that I can't tell.
All sense aside.
Left out in the cold,
sight of your routine getting old.
Blame some indifference inside,
taken on shapes not to selective.
Just what you find.
Where you find it.
Needing to find something,
is everything ok.
I hope you find your niche, someday soon.
Easy to change your phase,
to move from where you stand,
but you got to keep that face.
Each change you plan.
Wonder,
is everything ok,
the problem is hesitation..."

When I was younger I wanted to be in a band like them. I'm not sure if anyone remembers them, or if anyone still listens to them, but they are still one of my all time favorites.
I'm not sure what you would label them as, be it emo-core, hardcore, grunge-rock... whatever... they were what was right and good with music. Hard/deep rythmic power chord guitar (virtually unatainable by todays standards), an almost melodic bass line that perfectly compliments the vocals and the guitars, and a steady, almost god-like drum beat that blends the mixture perfctly, and then infused with raw/edgy/"average-joe's-had-enough" vocals!
I
them! The only other band I've ever seen pull this off was Helmet. And by the gods... Helmet was like the Siren's song to me.
...but I digress....
I always wanted to acheive what these fine lads did. They created a sound... no... an emotion... and recorded it to share with the world. I'm not sure if they even cared if they were famous or not. They probably couldn't care less about that... they were *real* musicians.
It makes me kinda sad that there aren't bands around like this any more.

Im gonna add you to my friends list if thats ok,cos you quite obviously rule!
sorry I'm still stuck on the boy wife concept....the things you listed is pretty much what I do most of the time except during my video game play I'm on the phone with the phone company and what not. Being the financial manager, picking up the boy's socks, and washing dishes can sux sometimes.
I suppose in the end it worth it.
I agree with ClearBrightFire (isn't she cute) is it cool if I add you too?
