So yeah, I've been pretty quiet for the past six months again. Excuse my eternally erratic nature but everything's so damn routine in some aspects that I need some kind of flux somewhere.

Despite my best intentions I'm still in a state of stagnation, in a way. But in other ways not. Life always was caked with duality and polar opposites. I'm still in...

so glad to hear you're going! If you're lucky cicadas are still going to be out and singing, it's the most romantic time of the year to be in Japan, I think...

The garage sale shop I was talking about is actually in a deeply residential area on Meiji Dori, it's too far from any station to give clear directions even! But go to the Sunday flea markets at the temples and shrines, there's always someone with piles of old kimono - especially in the older, more traditional areas of the city. Though I'd advise you to google for market listings in advance, different temples hold markets on different Sundays of the month.

No tips for cute spots between Tokyo and Kyoto, never got off the train between those towns yet.

Hey don't worry, there's a whole 8th floor of the department store 01ONE in Shinjuku still packed with Baby..., Angellic Pretty and all other main labels of powder-pink Lolita goodness (though they just hurt my eyes and I prefer the floor below). Additionally, most of Closet Child shops have a lolita fashion floor (it's the second-hand shop chain in Tokyo, you can get last year's collections in perfect condition, and at a fraction of the original price! - it's my secret super-cool shopping tip, shhh... wink )

Thursday's child has far to go. And Thursday's child went a'wandering in the wilderness for a year...

...Thursday's child had a family bereavement, was burgled as she slept and went back on the green and yellow pills which stopped the screaming ab-dabs. Then she doubled her dose.

She moved into the house from hell, a tiny closet of fear for the future. And six months...

All removables, all transitory/ All removables, passing always

Belated Merry Christmas to y'all! Hope you are still wrapped in a warm cocoon of rich food, seasonal booze, some decent TV and a warm house with lie-ins. I am not. I had to return to work today and I've had so much Christmas sugary snacks my head feels like it will explode. Silly MP, you never...

Hey, MP's back from the dead...

...Although at the mo i feel cold enough to be dead. Something to do with bad heating in this house plus walking around in 2 degrees C dressed only in a nightie because a man wanted to deliver a washing machine to my house SIX HOURS EARLY! Grr. But I digress.Today I am enjoying the day off work by...

thanks blush It must have been I guess. I made it free of charge for a member on here. I sent it to her for fitting (to attach the straps in the right place) along with an sae and 10 for postage and she never returned it for me to finish or the 10 so I was a bit miffed about it. I actually made it in August 2005 and worked with the pattern designer to augment it to accomodate the recipient's cleavage. A noob in the S'nB group was recommending free sexy patterns and included it so I was just showing them my effort.

I don't sell stuff (I knit for free and give it away)but the yarn would now cost about 15 I guess since it's end of range(Jaeger Celeste) though there are hundreds of ribbon yarns out there like Colinette do purdy ones too.. At the time it would have been 25 and I had to knit it twice after producing a unique item with one breast pointing North and the other South tongue (great for space aliens) so the whole episode cost me 60 tongue

At the moment I'm starting to knit this Corset Pullover and there is a Silk Corset which I have the pattern for too but have had no motivation to do yet.

Which word is more Christmas-y, "pong" or "punk"? Pass the green bean casserole. Careful, you've got spotted dick on your blouse. biggrin ooo aaa

Hello again after a stupidly long hiatus...

...Nope, I didn't disappear/lose computer/ lose house/ lose mind or anything (though I've come close on Wednesdays), I've just been uber busy, and by that I mean busier than usual.

Things I have been busy with?

1. They "promoted" me at work to looking after the (for the sake of my job, lets call it Rug) edition of...

See, now the only things I could eat out of that list you suggested would be the pasta and the tomato sauce, seeing how I don't eat meat or fish wink I did go buy some pasta though and had it with cheese and broccoli sauce which was rather yummy and at 57p very cheap biggrin

Glad you're ok, even though you're hellishly busy kiss

When do we get to see you down this neck of the woods again?

Love and kisses

So ends another year, I turn 23 tomorrow smile

And frankly I'm glad to see the back of 22. Over the year things have had a nasty tendency to turn around and bite me and teeth marks ain't pretty. Unless it's me biting into something tasty. surreal

What will 23 bring? I don't know but I hope it's good. Plain sailing's frankly dull, it makes me mentally...

I would like to dedicate this journal to a good friend of mine who sadly passed away on Thursday.

Her name was Emily. I do not remember how she got that name, but it suited her. She was a friend of my mother and grandmothers first of all. It seems an odd way to make a friendship, but she was young and had the kind...

Home sweet home and holy shit, everything's gone back to being good again!

Quite a lot's changed in the past month for me, as many will have guessed. And while a couple'a bad things have crooped up, most of the other seems very much for the greater good. It's so good I've come off the antidepressants again and I'm back to singing along to the...

I'm goin' HOOOOOOOME!! biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

The Staffordshire Newsletter offered me a job on Thursday so needless to say I took it. Whoo hoo!

Reasons?

1. I get to move back to Stoke on Trent, to my friends and my boy and (hopefully) to a house where I can put posters on the wall

2. At least a grand more pay than I'm on right now (and 13k...

Merry Xmas y'all! biggrin

So FINALLY I get two seconds to update, whoo hoo! I guess Christmas has to be good for something wink Only kidding, I love it really. In fact, I'm probably one of the most festive people I know, 'cos most people have been miserable unfestive gits this year- I've heard that amount of people go "oh, I'm not feeling very Christmassy at all"...

Tomorrow should be fun tho wink.
