My fiancée and I left Perth this morning for a roadtrip south. We left as a monogamous couple, 5 years together, one year engaged. Four hours later we arrived at our destination in an open relationship, knowing that we haven't been in an exclusive relationship for years. A massive weight feels lifted off both of our shoulders, though both still very new to the idea. A million questions are going though both of our heads.
Surely in a community such as this, there are people who can speak from experience.

For me, I learned that there is no such thing as too much communication. Honesty is always the best policy and it's even more true in these types of relationships. Oh and welcome to SG!!
