The Lions beat the Dolphins. I hung out with my cheesehead friend Will, picked Cat up from work, brought her back to casa Carrera, surprised her with some cupcakes, and we watched the new Walking Dead episode. It has been a wonderful capper to this lovely Sunday.

@aflalimo Smoothie 🥂 My smoothies are made with Cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon, pineapple, strawberry’s and white grapes. Greek yogurt and a splash of soy milk. Another sober cocktail is Mango tea with fresh squeezed lemonade, call it the Arnold Baller.

I burst out laughing—until I realized, in a lot of ways, that’s me—the story about the kitten is so fucking cute, the tiger breed is gorgeous, and the two chunky little lions are adorable. I remember finding kittens everywhere when I lived in my other neighborhoods. I stopped my car and scooped one up before he got hit by the oncoming traffic. I rescued five—yes, five—that were left in a box by the side of a busy street. I was nineteen years old and working at a fast food restaurant. I kept them in the back in a tall box for 8 hours until I could take them home. I kept one and found homes for the rest. I’m sure I would’ve found them all run over if I hadn’t rescued them. How could I leave them like that? ☹️☹️☹️

@aflalimo You did the right thing. Both my mom and dad rescued cats. My dad before he passed rescued a pregnant stray and they kept the kittens. My mom gave four of them away and has An older cat before the rescue and the three younger ones, my aunt has a bunch of cats too.
