One of my favorite places to eat in Denver came back a month ago. It couldn’t have came at a better time. I love Cheesesteak and this one is the best west of Philly. Denver Teds Cheesesteak was missing in my life. Because Denver lacks a good cheesesteak. Every place that offers one, fucks it up by putting peppers and mushrooms on it. Fuck no!...

@gadget Most Denver spots are New York style but not that large. I haven’t gotten a Philly Taco before it looks crazy. I did go to Jims before a Phillies game last year. I have a few friends in Philly so I go somewhat frequently when I can afford to.

I got this one at riot fest day two last year. My homie Mikey has one just like it, a best friend present if you will. It was also the first time I ate an Italian beef sandwich. I would later see them at Red Rocks which was awesome because they played an entirely different set than the one at riot fest or at least...

Your blog is beautifully written and arranged, my friend. And that sandwich looks and sounds like complete bliss. 🤤 I know of Korn from my sister, but am pretty unfamiliar with their music. The night with your ginger cutie sounds so fun. I don’t do well with weed period. And I’ve tried plenty of types in my attempt to make peace with it. I just end up paranoid and not enjoying it. I don’t drink anymore either, but it would be sweet to have a little whiskey and coke with you two as you blaze one.
metalhornshigh:
@aflalimo I eventually had to quit smoking dabs because it was making me paranoid. Now I just eat edibles or hit the bong. There was a dark period in metal when a beast known as Nu-Metal came about, it spawned such garbage as Limp Bizkit, Crazytown, and countless other horribleness. Korn was one of the better bands to come from that time period, as was System Of A Down.

They call me the Leonardo of lasagna.

The one time I made a calzone from a pizza dough. This calzone fed six people.

Smile somebody loves you. Could it be me? Possibly I don’t know. I got love to give and so does the garlic bread.

Thanks to some guy who was evicted at the apartments above my job. I am really looking forward to the Steve Martin book. The Hiram Key Revisited will be good too as I have read the first one.

I’m riveted by the Dali one myself. Awesome. The sight of those books makes me drool as much as the food porn you posted. Enjoy your affectionate garlic bread and your books. 🖤
metalhornshigh:
@aflalimo Dali is my favorite surrealist painter next to Max Ernst, I called dibs on that one too.

I thought you were gonna say, “I see a cute babe and hit her bottom.” Oops. Freudian slip anyone? I follow to give her or him numbers. The feed only captures so much anyway and is, in my opinion, more of an annoyance than a help. I just go to the profile of the member I want to see. It can be a pain, too, but it eliminates all that scrolling. Makes my hands and eyes hurt. Sheesh.
metalhornshigh:
@aflalimo scrolling through 180 is so much nicer. A good chunk of the ones I unfollowed were inactive. I am a fan spankings for cute bums. If she’s into it of course. I was taught to keep my hands to myself, when I drank I got a little handsy sometimes

I saw Beach Slang two times last year once in Denver at the Summit and once at riot fest in Chicago. I sat in the balcony because after working all day I didn’t feel like being on the floor. I sat next to this couple from Laramie, Wyoming who were okay. This shirt came from the Denver show

I’m not familiar at all with the band but what a sexy graphic. Sweet tee. What were you doing in Chicago? Was it for the concert? How did you enjoy the weather there? 🙂
metalhornshigh:
@aflalimo I went to riot fest last year which is held every September in Chicago there used to be one in Denver until 2017. At Douglas Park on the Southside. It’s three days of Metal, punk, emo, Indie, and hip-hop. I went to see a band that I will post about in a later blog. Chicago weather is great in the summer and it wasn’t too cold when I was there but starting to cool off. If you don’t like humidity Chicago is not for you. Plus there is always a breeze of some sort.

I’m not sure if this is the right place for this. I have a dab rig and supplies for sale.

The dab rig is made from silicone so it’s easy to clean and won’t break if dropped. I have a torch with two cans of fuel, and a dab tool. I’m selling everything for $80 it’s cleaned and ready to ship. DM if interested.

😂😂😂 Owlbert, huh? Of the Denver Pluckingtons? Lol. He’s got some distant cousins here in C-owl-iforia that leave their leftovers spread out across my lawn. Yummy. 🤢🤮 What exactly is a dab rig?
metalhornshigh:
@aflalimo it is used to smoke hash or dabs as the kids call it. It is concentrated THC and usually a high percentage ranging from. 70-92% pure. Then there are Canary Diamonds which are 99% pure. Basically you heat the metal part on the dab rig with the torch and place a “dab” of hash with the dab tool, on the hot metal to vaporize it and it’s a really intense high so not for beginners.

Friday night riot fest last year, first Nine Inch Nails show since 09’ they did a David Bowie song and played “Wish” which is one of my favorites. The fucking crowd was bullshit, this fucking guy kept trying to squeeze between me and my friend. I eventually elbowed him in the face “accidentally” during “March Of The Pigs” no more squeezing.

I saw Ghoul for the fourth time at the Summit in Denver last year opening up for Gwar. Both bands were great and I managed to find a balcony space for Gwar. So I didn’t get coated with fake blood and other nastiness.

What an awesome t-shirt. Your straightforward delivery of funny facts is very endearing. Holy smokes! Lol. Blog away my fellow blogger. We may howl listlessly at the moon of SGs/Hopefuls in futility, but we can admire the scenery together and high five each other. *lifts hand* Huh? Huh? *crickets chirping* =((( =p

Almost three years ago I quit drinking alcohol. The decision was made due to my incarceration from a fight that occurred between me and my old landlord who was an insane alcoholic. I myself wasn’t much better. What started as fun, turned into an almost prison sentence. I had my first drink when I was 15. My friend Will and I made some Gin And...

@Metalhornshigh So what you're saying is, it hasn't changed much. LOL
aflalimo:
@metalhornshigh You are very brave for sharing this so openly. My mother drank heavily from the time of my birth until I turned nine years old. My dad was a violent man without alcohol but he catapulted into another frightening universe when he drank. Alcohol was the spinach to my dad's Popeye. Anyway, she has been sober since, which has been several years now. She was sitting in her car one night, drunk and still drinking, crying in despair, when she got up, walked into the house and poured her last glass of whiskey down the sink. She never touched it again. My father stopped drinking, too. He never ceased to be violent and abusive, but he was not nearly as scary from then on. I joke about alcohol but I am just fronting to appear socially sophisticated. I have a healthy respect for liquor and drugs. Painkillers nearly buried me six feet deep, but I'll leave that story for another time.  <3

Last year I went to see Russian Circles, Eagles Of Death Metal, and Mastodon. At the Fillmore in Denver. It was a great show all the bands were good. The crowd was terrible people pushing and shoving to get up front.

Russian Circles

Eagles Of Death Metal

Mastodon

I am growing less and less in love with my life and self as I read your blog. ;) People. I like them in theory, but real life experience makes me grab my encyclopedia, flip to the page marked humanity and spark up my bic lighter. In the forest of the world, you are a wonderful tree. I'm pretty spruce myself. I will forever pine after a certain someone ^^, but I'm not finished barking up that tree. Hehe. She might pick a particularly spiny cone, put it in her bow, and shoot me in my smart ass. *sigh* I'm such a sap. =DDD Lovely work, friend. I'm finishing my night showering you with what "love" I have left to give. @redlyme Tag, you're it. =p

@aflalimo your life isn’t that bad, compared to some. Humans are pretty sucky at least SG is a bright spot. A community built on Beautiful Babes and the weirdos who follow them.
