Okay so an update... I found out when I'm moving: August 31. September 1 is Labour Day, so that gives me an extra day to unpack before I have to start work again. Note the correct spelling of 'labour... 
Hey, do you think if I talked to AL she'd let me be a Deputy of the Grammar Police? I should look into that... 
Today after work (2 hours to go...) I'm going to the mall to buy hiking boots to wear camping next weekend. We're going to be doing actual hiking (probably at least 5km, or around 2.5 miles if you speak American), which I've never done before, so I hope I like it. I still can't decide what food to bring that won't be heavy to carry... I'm thinking bread, peanutbutter, granola bars and trail mix. Mmmm... empty carpohydrates... Any other suggestions?
In other news... Mr. Iris's parents are in town this week. Could be stressful... I've never met them before, and nobody's parents have ever liked me. Seriously... apparently I'm a bad influence of some kind...?

i was hoping she could come visit when she starts feeling better but the only draw is the beach, and summer will be over here soon. well next month. i wish she could come and we could be back to normal, but we talked about that. too bad
