well, i've finally done it.
after probably 50 visits to cairns, i've been out to the reef snorkelling..
amazing, and so cheap!
i can't believe it's taken 9 years of touring to get oiut there.
i went out to green island on a day off for all of $50!
if anybody is going to cairns i strongly recommend it.
and buy a disposable underwater camera. $25.
haven't seen the photos yet,so i'm not too sure of the quality.- i'd imagine shit. but as ron burgandy says;
"when in rome."
had the "inaugral" bbq in cairns lastnight with the bands/crew, but being the only vego- i was over-looked. so alas, off for pide.
oh, well. it's the worst industry to work in if you have specific dietry needs/wants. especially travelling on the road and all want to stop at greasy joe's/mc-d's/etc.
cue: violins.
still in mixed minds about where to move.
the main prongs of the fork in the road seem to point to melbourne or temporarily in the states doing merch. (i'd much prefer europe/uk but nothing has arisen that-a-way).
blahblah. i'm currently having a night off in mackay. 20kms north at a resort, actually. this is the place of my birth. it has nothing going for it and the longest i will have spent here since before i was 1 will be now for 2 days.
yayyy.
atleast i have the cyber-world for the drab night off.
