THE POWER OF THE GROUP
A group of five loud young women passed by me yesterday. I have seen most of them before.
Alone they are quiet, demur even perhaps a bit frightened of the world.
Together they are confident, boisterous and meeting the world head-on

So I had hoped to post the first illustration from "The Mean Tree" today. But after I snuck into the university computer lab and got online, I realized I left the disk at home.
