As The Gears Grind Slowly Round
My vision is distorted all I see is dark haunted images is this reality? am I asleep? am I dreaming this horrid blasted landscape, all around me I see the dead and the dying looking at me with hate filled eyes, is the world going to hell or are we already there? So much death I choke on the fumes of burning flesh and hear the cries of children in amongst the flames. I tell myself it's all in your head it's just a dream, I look down at the ground below my feet and I see nothing in it's purest sense just a vast black abyss. Then a flash of blinding light and I wake up, the gears grind around and the machine begins again.
Based on a dream I had a few days ago.
