Ah, the weekend was ok. I got in a mountain bike ride on Sunday which was the highlight for me. The ground was frozen at first, but once the sun came out, it became muddy and yucky. Mud is fun to ride in, but I hate cleaning the bike afterward. Anyway, it was good to get out and enjoy riding in the woods.
It's a pretty lousy day in the neighborhood. There's thunder and lightning which bring with them freezing rain. It makes for bad driving conditions, and chills me to the bone. Today is one of those days that I just don't want to go to work.

Sigur Ros was awesome! I cried on several occasions while watching them. :-)
I did a pretty funny thing today (in retrospect). Although I never eat popcorn, for some reason I was craving it this afternoon. Not being very savvy with microwave popcorn, I threw it in the microwave (apparently for too long). When something started to smell funny empathy_girl found the popcorn and bag on fire in the microwave.

This is a weird week for me--I'm off today and have to work tomorrow, but I'm off Wednesday and Thursday. So today is both Saturday and Sunday, tomorrow will be both Monday and Friday, then I'll have two days off
