Lately I feel like this shirt represents my thoughts and feelings;

From a few years back watching the news really feels so surreal, people are so divided and I feel like this is 2019 and we should be more evolved, more loving and understanding of our enviroment and yet it seems like more and more ignorance keeps spreading and hatred keeps growing... I hope we can unite one day
My thoughts go out to all the victims of shootings, no one should ever be in that situation 💔

@melusine2908 i know it feels awful. I’m old, and to me? It feels like 1968 mlk murder awful. But part of the awful is our intense scrutiny of all things bad. Media never pays attention to good, it just doesn’t sell. So you can get some relief sometimes by just dropping your phone and trying to breath. Your level of activism is up to you. You can vote. You can boycott. You can march. The mass murders are up. The map of em looks ugly. But we are also immune to the daily murder rate in this country. In my state? A big one with two cities? About 7000 died in 2017 by gun violence. Out of 40 million people. It used to be worse this murder rate. For the mass shootings this year? 2000 injured, 520 died. Out of 350m. The acts are senseless. And the one in el paso super sad and frustrating. Be kind, try not to let it scare you, and model good behavior and wellness. The world is what it is and not sadly what we hope it to be. But we can change. And likely will.
