I just signed up for an 8:00 am class.
Eep.
This is probably a very, very bad idea, but I need it to graduate and it's being taught by my favorite professor (who also happens to be the only faculty member here whose classes I've gotten all As in).
I haven't had an eight am class since my very first semester in college. I think I went maybe 8 times altogether. Still got an A though, 'cuz it was mechanics and I was a physics godling at the time.
Classes start Monday. The eighter's only twice a week, thank god.
We'll see how this goes.

class does not start until tuesday for me.
I figure that hangovers and booze-hounding and lack of sleep gives me an instant connection with my students, hence such debauchery as today's is really just research, work related, and ultimately a tax write off.
Or is it a taxing write off?
Texas used to be the largest state, but because of Alaska, it no longer is. Texans are still very touchy about this, so you should be sensitive when you discuss it with them. "What a large state this is, despite being nowhere NEAR as large as Alaska!" is a sensitive remark you might want to make. Although today Texas is modern and of course, dynamic, it is proud of its cowboy tradition, which can still be seen in the form of men wearing comical hats. One of the most important historical attractions is the Alamo. the famous San Antonio mission where, in 1836, a small, brave band of Texans formed the nations' first car-rental franchise, which can still be seen today. visitors are also welcome to the Lyndon B. Jognson Library, but they avoid it anyway. Texas also contains many scenic hills and rivers, although nothing like you see in Alaska (which is much larger than Texas) The Official State symptom is irregularity.
