Hour 32: still smoke-free. Second major test coming up shortly: going to work, where *everybody* smokes.

Finally managed to fall asleep at about 6 am....but I actually feel pretty good. A little achey all over, but that could just be the bug I've got. Also a little numb, especially my arms. Weird.
goatsgotohell:
You can do it.... just hang in there guy.

I know how tough it is.

New pic. Control-F5.

First major test passed. Managed to survive trip to convenience store w/o buying cigs. Could not escape siren call of jolly rancher fruit chews, altoids, sunflower seeds, however.

It's been 20 or so hours since my last cigarette.

Hundreds of them seem to be doing a Busby Berkley routine in my head as I type this.

I'm done, though. That's it. No more. I'm not going to let inanimate objects rule my life.

Pray for me.

Ohhhh, congratulations on your decision to stop a nasty habit. Blech to cigarettes.

Isn't Clive Owen just gorgeous?!? So nice to hear you appreciate him too. kiss

Quitter! tongue

And I wasn't being fatphobic- how can I? Being a fat person myself, that would be akin to saying I hate white male idiots. whatever

I'll give a million dollars to anyone who can design me a bionic upper respiratory system....and I'll throw in a tuna-fish sandwich if you can do the lungs too.

I really don't get sick very often, but being a pharmacist's son, when i do get sick, it's like ebola and shit. my dad's immune to just about everything cause he's around it all the time....he...

1. I'm sick. Blech. Sore throat, cough. So that means no smoking. Which means surreal

2. The really cute quiet girl in class showed up in army fatigues yesterday, so I guess she's in ROTC or something. Boner says "?"

Three things:

1. So it's been raining for three days straight here. And when I say raining for three days straight, I mean that every hour I've been awake, it's been raining. The entire time. This is rather unusual for South Texas, especially in January.

It's driving me fucking insane. Mad. Nutters. Completely apeshit fucknutty bonkers. Crazy nutballs, as I like to say. Mainly cuz...

I don't think I have a dream cover although sometimes I wonder what songs would sound like if PCB covered them.

Hahah... that's awesome. Of course, nobody has ever told me that I resemble a thin Frank Black before because... well.. in real life I'm sure that I don't at all.

I just signed up for an 8:00 am class.

Eep.

This is probably a very, very bad idea, but I need it to graduate and it's being taught by my favorite professor (who also happens to be the only faculty member here whose classes I've gotten all As in).

I haven't had an eight am class since my very first semester in college. I think...

ahhh senor,
class does not start until tuesday for me.
I figure that hangovers and booze-hounding and lack of sleep gives me an instant connection with my students, hence such debauchery as today's is really just research, work related, and ultimately a tax write off.

Or is it a taxing write off?

TEXAS

Texas used to be the largest state, but because of Alaska, it no longer is. Texans are still very touchy about this, so you should be sensitive when you discuss it with them. "What a large state this is, despite being nowhere NEAR as large as Alaska!" is a sensitive remark you might want to make. Although today Texas is modern and of course, dynamic, it is proud of its cowboy tradition, which can still be seen in the form of men wearing comical hats. One of the most important historical attractions is the Alamo. the famous San Antonio mission where, in 1836, a small, brave band of Texans formed the nations' first car-rental franchise, which can still be seen today. visitors are also welcome to the Lyndon B. Jognson Library, but they avoid it anyway. Texas also contains many scenic hills and rivers, although nothing like you see in Alaska (which is much larger than Texas) The Official State symptom is irregularity.

Merry Fucking Christmas to you all, wherever you may be. And Happy Fucking Hannukah, Oip. Wait, did I spell that right? Is it Channukah? Or some other variant spelling?

Technically, as the resident authority on literati, whatever you say is the word of god (concerning spelling). And i dont know if literati is a real word. I think that it is, but not really certain.

My semester is done. Over. Finished. Kaput. Hopefully, I'll pass three out of four. But at least it's all over. I wrote *three* essays completely from scratch in 2.5 hours today, and two of them were actually pretty good. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, world. Hah.
