So, I bought some soccer stuff to pass the time during the rest of the deployment, and I also start my online classes today! I'm taking Elementary German and Intro to Computer Programming... should be fun!

Oh yeah, and one week until my 26th birthday!

Back to the regular old deployment routine... though still working on that sleep cycle part

Just have to make it to December now

Leave is over, and I'm safely back in Afghanistan... can't wait for this deployment to be over.

I seem to have successfully dodged two disasters (the airport shooting in Frankfurt and the Japanese earthquake) and will be flying towards another one (Bahrain's political implosion) on my way back to the Sandbox...

If I believed in stuff watching out for me, this would be the time

Made it to Germany safely, enjoying some much-needed downtime... kind of surreal arriving in Frankfurt the day after some guy shot arriving American Airmen (my best thoughts are with them and their families), especially since we were originally supposed to be coming in yesterday.

Anywho, gonna focus on the great things in this country for a couple of weeks, gonna live it up

Almost made it the rest of the month without an update (bum, I know)

Supposedly off to Germany and relaxation tomorrow for a couple of weeks... I totally can't wait, definitely looking forward to getting out of here for a little while

About a week away from heading off to Germany for leave... so ready to be out of here for a little while

Other than that, nothing new :/

I got to make an awesome someone's day a little brighter today, so that's always a bonus.

R&R can't get here soon enough, this place is started to make me... "frustrated."

Busy/tiring week coming up...

Well, my R&R dates are locked in... just need to iron out the small details...

Well, Japan isn't happening in March, but it's fine... tossing a few ideas around in my head, possibly going back to Germany or maybe even the states... not sure yet.

In other news, its been snowing here the past couple of days, but not really sticking, so its just kinda cold haha.

Other than that, not really much going on.

So, big snafu with the trip to Japan... to make a long story short, it might have to wait until after the deployment.

Kinda bummed, but my mid-deployment leave shall not be wasted.

Well, I got my combat/deployment patch... 170th IBCT sandwiched, hooah! haha

Had to do a couple of medical coverage details the past few days... yesterday, it was for the VP and some press, and today was an ANA live-fire range. I almost had to treat a kid today because he thought it was a good idea to throw rocks at an old (LIVE) Soviet landmine....
