so Big Brother 4 has started this week and , as usual, i am watching with eager anticipation.
i never watch 'lifestyle' shows, or 'survivor' but for some reason the BB event really intrigues me
i find it a fascinating study of human behaviour. maybe i'm a closet voyuer.
i read the web site diaries for the latest news and like to see who bonds...

this week i have been picking at scabs.
dwelling on past mistakes. people I have lost. opportunities missed.
feeling out of my depth at work and somewhat incompetant. not good for ones self esteem.
i have canker sores in my mouth from stress and overtraining

Hooray, thank you! I get to send another set in this month, hoping to start shooting soon.
last night i went to the kinky jelly wrestling show with 16DD
it was fun. the music was fairly pedestrian but the eXtras made up for it. girls vs girls jelly wrestling. boys vs boys. boys against girls. it was billed as a bit of a womens fetish event so the crowd were dressed pretty wild.
there were strips and scantily clad women . there...

Now it's back to reality? Grrr....
today i went and did some assessments for new staff in the city. i hate recruitment. i think the whole interview thing is so dodgy. some really good people interview badly. i see the good behind them but i still cant put them through. i try to avoid it as much as i can.
this morning i hurt my foot walking. yes walking for fucks...

The Monkey's Mask, eh? Sounds like a nice diversion. I might have to check it out. Hope all is right down under - and that your foot is feeling better

Ocean Geeks, Suicide Boys, SG Hopefuls and SG Australasia - social lil beast arent I. also added a new profile pic!
Today looks like a perfect Autumn day. Lonhro is bidding farewell to australian racing in the queen elizabeth stakes and Mummify and Makybe Diva clash over 3200m in the Sydney Cup. Will the girl triumph over the boys...

Perhaps when May hits it will get warmer...The Canucks won last night, they need one more win on monday to get to the second round - The noise the fans make is insane! What is a telco?

Once a week, indeed sir!
I'm "instructing" Jibaili to organise some kind of drinks/get-together thing in Sydney, so details as he makes them happen.
That 16DD thing looks like fun. I read Emma Tom in the paper from time to time, but I didn't know she was back in the band thing again, since her time with the ex-Custard boy.

i went to west africa in the late 80's for 6months. did voluntary work in ghana. then visited togo and benin. got mugged , got scared , lost trust and came home. i pulled out my journals from that time and found some good reading. i may even post some. life was a fucking adventure. it was dangerous, hard and unpredictable. i remember the bad...

Please post some of those journal entries. I feel the same way - I gotta get out and "do", rather they stay in and dream. Yet, here I am at my PC

Circle Jerks?!! Wow! I haven't heard them in awhile! I saw them with 7 Seconds some odd 15 years ago now - they were excellent (I managed to catch the Ramones too that year, with the Dickies
).
loismustdie:
i understand parts of it, just not all of it...
punk rock. i havent got that much . i have never been into punk in a big way.
i did like "x" (the sydney band)
perhaps they came the closest to being my favourite 'punk' band. thing is they never dressed in the 'uk punk' fashion . they were sloppy, raucous, unpredictable. they were funny. they were gloriously unsuccessful.
tonite fbi played a x retrospective...

My most recent purchase is 'After Everything Now This' by Kilbey/Willson-Piper/Koppes/Powles......
abracapocus:
Yeah. I went to see his grave. I'm not sure what I was thinking would happen, but after reflecting on it for bit, I'm not happy with the experience. I walked into the graveyard and expected his grave to stand out more. I don't know, nice, maybe mor flowers or green space. It didn't. I found it because I followed a few people in the general direction of where I assumed it was. Bruce and Brandon are side by side in the cemetary, right along the road. Their head stones are nice, but not impressive-and part of me doubts that Bruce would've liked one at all. There was never more than 1 or 2 people around while I was there, but that's enough (when they're snappin' photos) to realize the touristy BS that it really is. I'm happy I went there, but sad that it's become something it probably should not have.
This gist was that Flop totally showed me up on the wild animal "connection" thing today. Go check out his journal. He always has to one up me...bastard.
Oh yah, I saw that you are in Austrailia, if you make a "connection" with a cuttlefish you have to tell me, I'll be very jealous.
