today i went and did some assessments for new staff in the city. i hate recruitment. i think the whole interview thing is so dodgy. some really good people interview badly. i see the good behind them but i still cant put them through. i try to avoid it as much as i can.

this morning i hurt my foot walking. yes walking for fucks sake. i moved too quick and strained something at the front of my foot. not only is it painful i cant run . grrr.

last night i watched a "shocking" film.

The Monkeys Mask starred Kelly McGillis (remember Top Gun?) and aussie Susie Porter. Susie plays a lesbian private investigator investigating the murder of a poetry student in Sydney. Kelly McGillis is a tutor. they have sex. Lots of it. I have not seen as much lesbian sex outside a porno. they have sex like 5 times in the film and its full frontal full nudity stuff. The acting and script is appalling but the sex is one of the dominant themes in the film. Its the only reason i watched it. Its also filmed in Sydney so it was mildly interesting spotting local landmarks. Its fun to do that in films. The script has lots of naughty words like "cock" and "cunt" and given the film is loosely based around the victims poetry we get to hear a lot of this. Again interesting because you hardly ever hear the word cunt in film, which is strange because its a very common way to blaspheme here.

For a much better aussie film go and find The Hard Word with Guy Pearce and Rachel Griffiths. I dug that one. They rob the bookies after the Melbourne Cup and its fucking hilarious.
