They are calling it one of the most remarkable running performances from an australian in the last 20years. yesterday benita johnson won the world cross country championships in brussels over the long course - 8k. there were only 2 white girls in the top 12 - the africans usually completely dominate distance running. benita now looms as a genuine chance in the 10,000mtrs in athens. today is a great day for australian distance running.

she is world champion!!

nah thats totally serious.. problem for me is she's like 5'11" and i'm 5'6" but apart from that its all good.. it's not like i'm gonna put the moves on her, we've been friends for a while so i think i'de like to keep it that way...
