this morning i went to watch a pro surfing contest we have at our local beach and saw kelly slater catch 2 waves!! the weather was perfect. there were a couple of thousand people on the beach and swarming the headland - what a buzz seeing all those people at my beach! mother nature being the fickle bitch decided not to produce any decent waves all week. that must really piss the organisers off.
spent the rest of the day at my brothers with him and his new baby (jack). kids in the family are cool.
i start a new job (same company) on monday. bit nervous.
ocean swimming race around "shark island" tomorrow - 2.3km....i hope i make it back alive hahahaa

hey you knw that feeling when you just get back from a long run or a long ride and you feel totally exhausted but stoked that you did it, thats how i am right now.. just cracked 100km in one ride for the first time, its taken me ages to get it.. i've been hitting 60 and 70km reasonably easy but couldnt quite make the 100.. i tacked onto the back of a pack on beach road, melbourne, introduced myself to a few guys and just kept on pedalling..
good luck with the new job??
