I'm trying to figure out if age is really just a number? I've been seeing a friend's sister in law since late in the summer and the age difference between us if fairly large (12 years). There have been times I've felt too old for her ... and times where everything seems fine. Today we got into an argument because it's her friend's birthday and she wanted me to come along. Problem is, I've been battling a cold since Wednesday (it prompted me to take only the third sick day I've taken in three years at my present job). When I told her I had to pass, she immediately accused me of never wanting to hang out with her and her friends - which is weird considering we more often than not do what she wants when we hang out. I'm also 32 ... so I'm happier relaxing at home some nights - rather than hanging out at a half empty bar drinking crap beer. Anyways, she did apologize eventually. But I have to wonder, does age really matter?
