Feeling The Love!

Hey Duckies!

I just had to make a short update/thank you blog I'm so happy and pretty overwhelmed with all the amazing comments I received on Pokemon Safari and the fact that it's almost at 900 likes!

I haven't been as active because I'm back at my mom's for the holiday coming up - THANKSGIVING! Which as a foodie, and aspiring pastry chef is obviously one of my favorite holidays. We're make shifting our own holiday meal since the place we normally order from isn't even established in Washington anymore - in fact the closest location would be like 3 states away, so I'm pretty bummed but we'll make the best of it.

I've also been knocking out errands and things I've been needing to do for MONTHS! Like visiting the optometrist (I have had the same glasses for 5 years, my first and only pair! - until now) I'm currently waiting on new glasses and might even wear them in a set ;3 I've also decided to get the lenses replace in my old ones because they're literally just perfect for my face and I can't seem to part with them. Plus when I originally got them, they were the most expensive frames in the store and accurately named "spoiled" haha, so it's only fitting!

Also MAJOR WARNING: If you've never worn contacts but have a somewhat high-stung/ high-anxiety personality - be extremely cautious! The optometrist went to do a final test on me where I guess she was going to put contacts in my eyes and then take a photo with this like optical camera... well there's a rare reaction some first time contact users have and it was one of the scariest moments of my life - I'd probably equate it to almost drowning when I was younger. I started having such a bad panic attack from the way they felt in my eyes that I passed out and when I came to I couldn't recognize who was in front of me, why I was there, what had happened, nothing... It took me about a minute or two to realize the person in front of me was my fiance! Once I realized that I broke down crying because the thought of me not having been able t recognize someone I love so much was absolutely terrifying to me. It was what I imagine having Alzheimer's would be like because it was a faint like familiarity but was also unrecognizable. Definitely a scary experience and I won't be able to use any cool contacts in shoots in the future, but at least I know! & In case any one else has never worn them just be extremely careful! The optometrist told me she'd only encountered about 4-5 cases in her career, so yay me to be one of those, of course!

I also went and knocked out a trip to the dentist and that was also a major experience, haha! I hate the dentist (who doesn't) but I hadn't gotten cavities filled in a while so I forgot the process, but I remembered I don't like the gas or the shot. Well they were almost insistent I get the shot because they were gonna be drilling in my nerves not just the enamel. After about 20 mins and a panic attack later, and essentially freaking the dentist out (who I later found out only graduated in May, lol) they allowed me to try without any anesthetic, and whaddup?! I got 2 cavities filled with no drugs - they were legit ready to feed me Valium, and were even contemplating sending me to a pediatric office to do IV sedation, the fuck?! My mom had to sit and hold my hand, but I got a major confidence boost in my pain tolerance and two cavities filled! Haha. Thankfully I picked an office with an absolutely amazing staff! But still doesn't stop me from thinking of Steve Martin in The Little Shop Of Horrors!

On a happier note - I also made an appointment for the 24th to get started on my half sleeve! I'm so over the moon I can''t even begin to explain I'm getting a watercolor half sleeve of butterflies twirling around my arm to commemorate the period of time after my great grandfather passed and my life went into a spiral. He was an entomologist and would always send me pamphlets (like really nice laminated ones) and educational books and things on bugs and I always skipped pasted most but the butterflies, caterpillars, moths, and rhinoceros beetles always intrigued me - so eventually I'll probably end up with those somewhere on my body.(: My great grand father was the most amazing man I've ever known, and a major role model for me even after he's passed, so it'll be a big thing for me to be able to remember him in such a beautiful way!(:

If you've made it this far you deserve a treat, so here's so boobies from my last set currently in queue My Little Panda for a little teaser since it's still over 3 months away! (the last set before pierced boobies!)

And my babely friend @lizlynn had her debut set Liz accepted into member review so in 5 months you can see what her and I shot together, but for now head over and give her a follow to keep updated til then!(; Here's a personal favorite of mine:
