Hey people. Just having a pretty rotten day. So for the past few weeks, I was seeing this young woman, who is signifigantly younger than myself, and things were going great. But over the past couple of days it has become evident that she isn't as mature as I had initially believed. Over the past few weeks, we had been in constant contact with each other. Between Skype, text messages, and meeting up, we talked literally every day. Then on Tuesday she completely went AWOL, even though I texted her stating I was worried because she normally responds. Yesterday, still no word. Then this afternoon I get a text from her like nothing happened. I expressed how I felt like I was being ignored, which I should add is one of my biggest pet peeves. While I don't expect her to tell me where she was or why she didn't contact me, I would have liked an apology from her for making me feel like I had done something wrong when I very much didn't. But when I told her specifically that it felt like disrespectful that there was no apology, she simply said, "nope". While I'm not a clingy person by nature, nor controlling, nor jealous, I am in touch with my emotions, and if I feel hurt, I would hope for some empathy, or an assurance that were such a situation to come up again, I would recieve a message that she wouldn't be able to talk for a couple days... I don't think I'm overreacting, but I just don't think a person should not devalue someones feelings by not acknowledging that they caused some concern and sadness. Any ways, thanks for reading
