I went out today to Balloon Fiesta park. I took the day off to go take some pictures at my friends' event. Powermoves Entertainment, which focuses on up and coming artists here in NM, had a free show outdoors for a bunch of kids and community centers. It was neat to see the up and coming artists giving their all for the kids, who had a great day running around in the sun prior to going back to school.
I was rather surprised to see no media there in terms of the news. I should have called them myself. It was hot! I got about 300 images, including some amateur wrestlers who had come out and set up a ring. Men in tights. I told my friend J that if he had informed me there would be men in tights I would have come out sooner in the day. HAHAHA.
All in all, a good day. And I didn't even have to go to work. I did, however, manage to get sunburned. And I may need to go to my friend's house (who is helping me out with the photoshoot) and do some naked tanning if this turns out poorly for me.
