Called in sick yesterday and today. Thought I'd catch hell from my boss, since all of the big mucky-mucks are visiting today, and expecting three presentations from me as well as a justification of my job since my position is unique to this store.
Well, it turns out my boss was also too sick to go to work today too! Guess she couldn't very well tell me to suck it up and come in anyway if she wasn't going to do the same.
Sometimes the way the universe works is truly amazing.
Meanwhile I feel as if I've been beaten with baseball bats. And now I have a hacking cough.
How's that for attractive?
