Had to endure some red tape BS in Downtown Brooklyn today. Got up at the crack of dawn, caught a bus to the train station, asked for directions, and when I got there, found out they gave me the wrong directions, and and to walk very briskly 20 blocks. Found out, I could have gotten out at Dekalb ave, and walked three blocks. Anyway, I get there, wait one hour, spend 30 minutes with the red tape guy, who tells me I need to go back home and bring him an importnat piece of paper, that nobody told me he needed! So I go back home, and the snow is now like a blizzard. I get home, accidently trip the alarm--have to then deal with the alarm people, who didn't know I had moved back home, then raced back to Dekalb.
On a good note, the place was right near Junior's, and I had a killer corned beef sandwich, fries and a coke and bought one of their world famous Rasberry Cheesecakes (A full cake!) home to split with my brother (Who is making a special trip just to get his half.) My mom and I will kill the other half. Me more slowly, than mom, because I am still on my diet--sorta.
If you ever get to Brooklyn, you must stop at Junior's!
