Off today for Memorial Day. If I get through with all of my errends, I may take mom to the Botanical Gardens. She has not been there for many, many years.
I'm really excited. I signed up for a Master Class with Magician, Jeff McBride! Only 20 people in the class. One-on-one training. I've never had a lesson in my life, in all of my years practicing magic--but I could not pass up this opportunity. The class in on the 11th. I can't wait.

And yeah, I'm trying not to be intimidated but it's not easy. I'm trying some risky stuff that you can't rehearse without a whole bunch of people, so the rehearsals have only been in my head! Of course i have some solid pieces as well, but my closer is really risky. I have a backup closer in case it all goes wrong, but I'm just going to go for it. Feels like flopping your wedding tackle into a lions mouth and flicking his nuts with a wet towel. Yes i watch a lot of Red Dwarf.
