GOD DAMN What a weekend My weekend was SICK Yo! Not sure where to start.
I had 2 shoots in NY on Saturday
Got up at 4 am for a train to NYC to be on location at 7am, BTW this shoot was focused on Public nudity.
when i arrived at Penn Sta, there were 60 cop cars around the area, for some drill, so much for being inconspicuous.
My 1st location was 2 blocks away at the Cheyenne Diner, I was to be naked on the sidewalk out front. A woman called the cops because she thought i was sick ( and Naked ) on the ground. Fear not, i was fine, my 2nd encounter with NYPD was another routine check from a complaint and they were just annoyed about the artsy fartsy pain in the asses were were wasting their time to investigate. the 3rd encounter with NYPD was outside a church while i was wearing a flying nun habbit naked in stockings and heels smoking a cigarette ( for the camera only ) when someone else reported us, actually they lied and said we were on private property naked. when in fact it is legal to be naked in NY as long as it's not Private property. so to say the least the 1st shoot was really crazy and defiantly a Rush. the only issues i had with it was, this one guy, i think he was Columbian, either way he didn't speak a lick of English accept for the word "NICE".. we were doing this shot outside across from his place of employment, a parking garage. he came out and whipped his cell phone out and started taking pix of me, there's not much you can do, I mean i could have a issue if he posted them on the web without a release form, but i have a feeling this guy doesn't have or know how to use a computer. ether way he offered us the use of the garage to take some shots, i figured he took naked pix of me why not get some location time in on his behalf. so i am up on a car lift and he's taking more cell phone shots while the photographer is reloading, then i crouch down and try to rest, and he is trying peer between my legs while moving closer, too close for comfort! and saying Niiiice...in a drooling I'm gonna rape you because i just got out of prison kinda way.... Then i yelled OK ITS time to go, I'm uncomfortable, so we got the fuck outta there so Chico could go wax it to low res cell phone pix. mother fucker....
2nd shoot was with James Graham.
I have had this outfit to shoot with James since the winter, and now that it's finally spring i could, Called Lady in the cafe, I took some self ports so you could get an idea, but were waiting for the film to be processed, he shot it in Medium format with his new baby ( Mamiya ) I also took a shot of the Polaroid test as well.

After that we headed to this seedy hotel that charges by the hour, i can not tell you how gross and infested with human germs this place was, but i sucked it up and did my work, we shots some roller skate stuff since i didn't get a chance to use them in the 1st shoot, and then i came up with the idea that i wanted to do a shoot smoking ...not cigs
and I'm sure they came out fucking HOT. I don't usually even drink at a shoot, but this was the actual theme of the shoot, so it was called for.
