Monday pieces of me....

Feeling kinda blue today, Internally

the colors is just a coincidence..

I think it has something to do with a stray dog being hit and killed in front of my building last night
I know most of us think of ourselfs as animal lovers
but i have always had a bit of an emotional tie to them, I can't always shake the feeling when i see something terrible happen to them.
I remember crying to my mother when i was 5 about a boy killed a little white butterfly..

when i was 8,
the time someone left their porch door open and their little white poodle named Star, fell from at least 5 stories down and died, has never left my memory
and later when my hamster died i placed it in a box under a shrub by a church across the street from our apartment, that was in clear view of my window. I saw some boys playing out there, and they found the box and opened it and started kicking it around once they saw my hamster in it.
Man i was hysterical.
Last night there was a loud thump and Ant went to make sure his car was ok, and told me i would be upset what the noise was, i immediately asked if it was a dog. and i had to run down in my pajamas. Something in me cold not just ignore it. i had no idea what i was going to do. He was a brown pit-bull mix, he was in the middle of the street, not moving, another girl said she saw a truck come by and plow right into the dog and take off. she left, I called the cops to come move it, in case he was not dead and in shock. i found a traffic partition, and put it in front of his body. I saw that this dog was not breathing, no rise and fall in his chest, his eyes were open, but it seemed as if life had left him through his eyes. i felt extremely depressed that someone would just keep going. the cops arrived, and said they would handle it, i never looked back.
yesterday afternoon, we went to get Frankie a Scratching post, Which by the way he is just as bad as he was before he left to get neutered. No change what so ever, not even phased by anesthesia at all!
and i took these pet store pix while I was there.

I'll be back tomorrow to leave a more upbeat journal....
about food and movies and what not.
