Better late than never, its my V-day Dinner. I was a little stoned and tipsy when i shot these, and the lighting was a tad dim, but it gets you hungry no matter what.


Last night went out with my mom. went to Cosi for a Mocha, she gave me this gift she made, it was a hematite beaded key ring, that has a crucifix and a little silver charm airplane.
OK i am not overly religious, but when i fly my mom likes me to carry something for faith and good luck. and to tell you the truth when i am up their , my nerves are shot, so i can use all the help and faith and comfort i can get. I usually sedate myself just for take off, sometimes i try to just be clam, but when Ant is not there to hold my hand and calm me, i could easily tale a valium.
I can get very emotional up there. my worst fear is dropping out of the sky due to technical malfunction , and take off is the worst for me, even the next 5 mins after take off is hard. the drop and adjustment in altitude, fucking wrecks me.

so after that we went to EL Vez, a very swanky Mexican spot. My mom is so skeptical of today's menus, she watches the food network but still, can't get past the names of dishes, so i ordered.

A chipotle BBQ Chicken on jalapeo cornbread, and she had salmon.
and a side of Creamed corn rice with cheese for sharing.
then we went over to the Gelato spot, she had coffee and i had A small Gelato, i shared with her. she loved it all.
its been almost a year since i gave my mom an ultimatum to get and stay clean from OTC narcotics, she has almost a year under her belt of AA/NA It was last Mothers day that cut my mom off for 3 weeks.
i told her to shape up or i was cutting her off.
she has since gotten addicted to her NA group. Hell at least it gets her out of the house and out of her self pity depression.
I am proud of her.

Ok I won't be back here till next Wed. Off to LA tomorrow Morning.
