I'll leave you with this, an eerie nursery rhyme I wrote damn near a decade ago.




When I awoke the world was gone
But you were there to sing my song

You sang the words so pure and clean
When you were done there came a King

You sang the notes so strong and true
When you were done a Queen came too

They built a castle tall and wide
And furnished it with royal pride

Inside it's walls you sang my song
Outside it's walls the world was gone
