I made it through my first week of living in my new condo on my own. After years of living with mom growing up, then moving in with friends at college, I finally have my own place. (of coarse i'm renting lol) I was living outside of Philly for the past 4 years and loved every moment of it, but it was time for me to make my move back to my hometown and start the next chapter in my life.
So I have my first real job interview this week and i'm kinda nervous. I haven't worked in a tattoo shop as artists before, I have been a apprentice for a few years but all not all shop are ran the same. Its not that i'm worried about being right for the job, its learning from a new teacher and fine tuning my craft. I feel in every trade you can always learn something new. I will follow up on this topic in my next blog after my interview.... tbc!
This weekend felt really lonely for me, not in a sad way per say. I'm used to having someone else living with me and different noises you get used to, but it has been quite as can be. I did spend alot of time setting up my new place hanging pictures and putting things away. I stayed in for the most part because honestly after putting out for my security deposit, last month rent, and pet deposit, it kinda left my wallet empty. Also I had to get some furniture and a nice tv for the living room too. The best part of my weekend besides playing on the internet, watching netflix, and settling in, I got to walk around the house in my boxers!
Until my next share i'm going to finish try to make my new condo feel like home. I got some good things planned for the week and will share next time. I wanna say it has been really cool meeting new people on SG this past week and weekend. They're some really nice SG girls, hopefuls, and members on this site.
Thats all for now.

And that's what having your own place is about! When I get mine later this year, I'm going commando. (TMI, lol)
Best of luck though, bro. Look forward to hearing more later on
