painted a winged jackalope on doc's back last night. ran to a nearby convenience store to pick up a disposable camera at 1am to get a shot.
read to her, and we fell asleep. emmett spent the night making rounds, going from her to me, purring and tapping us awake, begging for an ear stroke or a belly scratch.

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I'm extra busy this month. Yes, I've worked at a local bookstore for 5 years, I'm actually on extended pregnancy leave right now, but I still do thier graphic design.

Return of the Jackalope! Yes! Sometimes you just cannot beat that domestic bliss. I liked 'Snow Angels'; I think my favorite is 'In the Walled City' - short, gut-wrenching stories, simply written. Off to the library for a fresh batch. Anything striking, I'll let you know.

I wouldn't worry about the cat thing. I openly admit to calling my cats "mommy's little poop factories" and people seem to like me anyway. Go to the block party and have lots of fun. If you drink enough it should be easy to find some new way of making an ass of yourself. Then you can stay awake at night burning with the shame. What fun!
