In the U.S. we tell the story about a Polish man who goes to the eye doctor. the doctor points to the eye chart on the wall and asks "Can you read the bottom line?" The man  looks & replies, "Read it? That's my Uncle!" - BTW, I did know somebody named, Olga Gieszczykiewicz.  ;)
