Work
Not only have I been promoted to projectionist, I think I got offered the assistant manager position last night. Our assistant manager and two projectionists quit this past week. That probably sounds horrible, but the fact is, we have a very high turnover rate at the theatre - partly because of our lame-ass manager, but also because of the average age of our staff members is about 16-17 years old, they just tend not to stick around too long. My pay should go up by about $3.50/hour plus I still don't have to work weekends (which is wicked cool).
I will also have keys to the theatre... which maybe makes my plan of a projection room SG set closer to a reality. I had ideas of me up in the room, maybe threading a film, getting slowly nekkid and playing in discarded film... movie reels on the floor... thoughts?

I bought this super cute little babydoll pj set for my upcoming trip, and wanted to take some pics. trocar was a real sweetie and took some for me (trying to take them in the reflection of my bedroom mirror just wasn't going well for me
). I posted the pics in an album here, but the images turned out blurry. Here's a preview

As many of you know, things have been pretty crazy in my life lately, and I really think the people who've been extra wonderful lately deserve some props, but I'll spoiler the list - there are a lot of amazing people.

I'll be fine, but the damage was a tad worse than I thought. Not severe by any means, but the particular muscle I tore will take longer to heal than most and I might not have full flexibility in it like I used to. I'm crossing my fingers though.
