Work, Work, Work......
The costumes made out of boxes - for the Transformers premier - are coming along very nicely. Though I think Optimus Prime's ol' codpiece might be a bit generous. I love my job. Sometime later in the week we'll be paper mach-ing the boxes, then painting them after that.
I watched Fantastic Four II last night with a couple of co-workers. Since I went in with lower-than-low expectations, I can't really say that I was disappointed. Had I paid to see the movie, I would have wanted my money back, or the heads of whoever decided to make that pointless sequel..... whichever.
Its been a long time since I've had actual co-workers (nannying spoils you in that respect), and I could really use some advice. So there's this guy.... nice and everything, I guess. He got hired because he is friends with the manager. He's 20 and kinda gothy-emo-ish. I think that's enough background on the guy.... anyway, the problem is: he's "huggy." At the end of his shift he's all, "Okay, I'm leaving... hugs?" So far I've been able to find excuses to run away, but yesterday he did it while he was on shift, not leaving or anything *shudders* The Boss can't seem to find fault with this guy, and when anyone mentions any of his little "quirks" she's just like, "That's just so-and-so's way." Sigh. I am actually afraid to tell this guy to frak off because of his relationship to the boss; some guy actually got fired because of his mopping skills and that the boss' sign didn't get along with Sagitariuses. Yup, totally illegal AND stupid, I know.

Everyone could probably do with checking out his new moustache. Its evil, but fun.

Some of you might remember that my cat, Emmy, was having siezures a few months back. Recently, she's gone through a pretty big personality change, even starting to bite. She bit my friend's kid last Thursday (pretty bad). The vet figures that she most likely has a tumour - which explains both the wacky personality and the intense siezures. Extremely expensive to both diagnose and treat, I've decided to put her down
I know that a lot of people would choose to treat their pet, but I just can't go into thousands of dollars of debt for a cat that doesn't even like anyone. Our appointment is for June 29th, next Friday.
