Muahhh.. a slight change in pace for me lately. I went from being bored into a vegged out state to having a fucking blast!.
Sat. I went to the Perfect Circle show at the Gwinnett Civic center. The concert rocked, the venue sucked a big fat hairy nut. Security was so bad that I almost got kicked out after crowd surfing. As the gaurds helped me down one of them quickly grabbed my arm and literally ran me backstage. Much to my amazement, they take me back to a room where there is some OD'ing bitch crying and screaming "I don't take drugs, I swear". As I'm standing there perplexed I finally asked someone where the hell they were taking me. Apparently they thought I knew this chick and took me back to see her. Finding out that I didn't, they took me back to the show, but said I'd be kicked out for crowd surfing. I could have killed them for making me miss part of the show. Either way, I found two pits, but they both only lasted about 2 min... just enough time for me to hurt myself. First, I lost my shoe. Then I was punched right on my plug in my left ear and somehow got hit on my hip (which is now bruised to hell). Ah, the crazy things are the only ones worth doing half the time. I love concerts thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssss much!
I only had seats, but with the help of some of my friends and offers of help from DELIRIUM_FAERIE and Jabberwocky I finally made it to the floor. Thank you guys b/c otherwise I would have barely been able to see anything. Sorry I didn't really get to meet you all too in depth. Hopefully I'll get to meet everyone eventually. Many of you have my digits.... feel free to use 'em if you're ever going to be in the Athens area.
The rest of the night was spendidly spent celebrating my friend's 24th birthday!!! I wish I could relay more of a story, but the truth is that I can't remember shit about it.
