The "welcome home" party that I threw for KOA was a success! The biggest surprise for him was the people who came in from out of town. His family from St. Louis and Baltimore came in and one of his Army buddies from Atlanta was here too. We had a great time but I'm so glad it's over!!! I have a ton of pics but you'll have to wait to see them...I haven't had the time to get them on the 'puter yet!
My neighbor called me over the other day. She was out in the yard doing some gardening and came across a fawn.
It was gone by the next morning but it was neat!

I'll be fine w/my starting over stuff and it really *is* nice to know I've got great friends to vent to. When I'm out of "jail" I'll have to look into some trips!

That fawn is so adorable - I've never seen on like that in person - which is strange considering the deer population where I work - but I guess the fawns are all in the woods, and I'm not out there often.
It's rained like mad here - I don't know what the official rainfall has been - but the rain gauge at work has shown about 8-10 inches this week - and it rained again last night.
This morning is the first all week that it hasn't been already 70 degrees when I've gotten up to go to work - so hopefully today will be nice.
